The Information Nexus is an examination of the most basic elements of a physics of reality, such as space, information, time, how intricate complexity, organizational synergy, and dynamic evolving systems can emerge from simple principles. These are big questions of science, what have been termed the ‘hard problems’ — since scientific explanations seem to lead to intractable paradoxes and ultimate inexplicability. Yet, when viewed through the cohesive and holistic understanding of unified physics, we see that the resolutions of these hard problems are relatively simple and intuitively understandable. They do not necessarily require complex mathematics and far-out abstract concepts. Nature, at its heart, is simplistic. We are fortunate in this regards, for if the characteristics of the natural world were engendered from complex principles, then we would probably have little hope of understanding it at the most fundamental levels. How did everything come into being? Why are things the way they are? Where did life come from? What is our place in the universe? These are some of the 'Big Questions' that will be explored in this manuscript.
